Primitive Camping at Riverside Rentals

Campsites are $25 each, per night

Riverside Rentals Primitive Camping is a unique camping experience offering designated primitive locations along the riverfront for a peaceful nature experience.

Campers are advised that these areas are remote, primitive sites. Cellular service may be nonexistent or limited. Campers desiring on-site attendant, security, and law enforcement services are encouraged to use developed campgrounds where such services are provided. These services are not provided for primitive camping. Persons camping at primitive campsites do so at their own risk.

General Campground Policies

1. Camping is permitted only at designated campsites.

2. No dogs or other pets are allowed.

3. No Generators.

4. No alcoholic beverages or drugs permitted on the premises.

5. Take all trash with you. Leave campsite clean. (Do not throw trash in river.)

6. Cigarettes must be disposed of properly and not to be thrown on ground or in river.

7. Quiet time is between 10pm and 8am.

8. Park only at campsite # you are assigned. One parking space per campsite. For additional parking, use the designated Riverside Rentals parking area.

9. No hunting is allowed.

10. Camping rate is for up to 2 persons per campsite. For groups larger than 2, please reserve additional campsite(s).

11. Carving into or defacing trees, signs, shelters or other Riverside Rentals features is illegal.

12. Maximum stay for camping is 3 consecutive nights.

13. Please note that check-in time for camping is 4:00pm ET. Check-out time is 12:00pm ET.

14. The installation of permanent camping facilities is prohibited.

15. The digging or leveling of the ground at any campsite is prohibited.

16. No atv’s or dirt bikes are allowed.

17. Fires only permitted in firepit. Only Wood can be burned in firepit (no trash, plastic, etc. and must be always kept under control) Constructing new fire rings is prohibited. You may only burn wood that is dead and already on the ground. You may not cut any standing wood.

From Highway 25E northwest of Tazewell, take Cave Springs Road for 8.4 miles. After you cross the Cosby Bridge, turn right onto N. Riverside Road.

In about 1/2 mile, Riverside Rentals is on the right.
